  • OUR STORY
  • Des Moines Weather Beacon Print

Built in 1960, the Des Moines Weather Beacon was a 500-foot tower that indicated the local weather forecast with its bulbs. It was a landmark of the Des Moines skyline for over 50 years, but was turned off permanently in 2012. This print is perfect for all fans of the beacon and the famous jingle that went along with it!
